Tournament Information

The first annual Men's Golf Tournament is here! We've had a great response and are looking forward to a great day of golf and fellowship this Saturday, the 6th of October.

For the 32 golfers (see right column), the festivities will begin at 8:30 am. at Rockwood Golf Club, with a shotgun start promptly at 9 am. Be sure to be on time so we can go over the rules and get everyone in place! Reminder: the cost for the tournament is $33, which includes lunch.

All non-golfer are invited to join the golfers following the tournament, at approximately 12:30, at the Temple Lot local for lunch, the awards ceremony, and stories of the days best - and worst - moments.

We'll see you Saturday!

Course Information

2400 South Maywood - Independence, MO 64052 - (816) 252-2000

This short but challenging course rewards accuracy off the tee, while the mature trees lining the fairways will punish a wayward shot. The small and quick greens make Rockwood a quality test for the most skilled short game players and challenges beginners to develop quality short games. Rockwood was once one of the premier golf clubs in the Kansas City area. In fact, Harry S. Truman was a member and reportedly learned of his presidential victory while relaxing in the clubhouse.
